First Carolina Risk Management Advisors is an independent risk management and insurance broker, established in Charleston, S.C., in 1942 as the Worth Agency. In 2007, we changed our name to First Carolina Risk Management Advisors to reflect the growing diversity of our services and our regional presence. Today we operate two offices, one in Charleston and the second in Columbia, S.C.

First Carolina is dedicated to providing our commercial and individual clients with insightful solutions designed to reduce the client's overall cost of risk. Our approach is not conventional because it's not about seeing how many quotes we can write. Our approach is customized to the individual client, focusing on immediate needs and long-term protection.
